Coalition for a Healthy Greater Worcester – Trauma, Resiliency and Racial Equity Institute Administrative Assistant


Coalition for a Healthy Greater Worcester’s mission is to promote the shared learning, reflection and broad engagement that improves community decision-making and quality of life for residents of the region. The Coalition brings people and organizations together around health issues in Worcester, Paxton, West Boylston, Boylston, Shrewsbury, Leicester, Millbury, Auburn, Grafton, and Holden. The Trauma, Resiliency and Racial Equity Training Institute is housed within the Coalition for a Healthy Greater Worcester and is a community wide training and learning initiative led by a collective of facilitators.  The Institute includes 3 program components: A core 10 hour introductory training, a train the trainer and project incubator and a community of practice.  We are seeking an administrative support person  to fulfill a scope of work funded by the UMass Chan Medical School to deliver all 3 program components Nov 8- January 31st 2022 with the potential expansion from February 1-May 31, 2022.  The ideal candidate will meet the qualification below and be available for a flexible work schedule of meetings and administrative tasks as well as independently manage a weekly task list.




  • Proven experience as an Administrator or relevant role

  • Basic graphic design experience

  • Experience with office management tools (MS Office software, Google Drive and Suite, Mailchimp, Canva)

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail




  • Manage meeting and training schedules with facilitation team and participants

  • Update flyers and public materials and prepare for public distribution

  • Manage participant registration information as well as maintain Google Drive folders  for all Institute document management

  • Manage participant evaluation surveys and communication

  • Other duties as assigned



This is a contracted position with an hourly rate of $20/hour for a total of 97.2 hours or approximately 7.5 hours a week.


Invoices must be submitted monthly during the contract period: November 8-January 31, 2022.
